Taj Mahal, audience share a good time

ALBANY — Taj Mahal is a musical explorer. He’s as comfortable playing Hawaiian music as he is playing gospel or country. And he’s as adept at writing a contemporary tune as he is at unearthing a lost classic.
But the blues underpins everything he does, and he stuck close to the roots of the form during a spectacular Sunday concert at The Egg.
