Creole Bred

Taj Mahal, Cyndi Lauper, Tom Tom Club,and Los Lobos, are among
some of the artists paying tribute to Cajun music on new Cd entitled “Creole Bred” due to drop May 11th, 2004.

This compilation was assembled by Ann Savoy, who collaborated with producer
T Bone Burnett on the Creole infused soundtrack for
“Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood”.
Taj Mahal adds his spice to Canray Fontenot’s “Two-Step de Grand Mallet” and the Fontenot/Alphonse Ardoin track “‘Tit Monde.”
